This weekend we'll be partying as this is known as the last summer party weekend! Jagermeister is one of the cooler shots when you're out and about. If you've seen the Tap Machine that is at many bars, you know that it always makes the perfect shot with the perfect chill. Now you no longer have to go to the bar, you can enjoy their new 6 shot cooler! This cooler comes with 50 cups and the bottles can sit within this easy to carry cooler to ensure that the party never stops! In addition, when the lid is closed, there are places for your shots to sit. When it's open you have the compartments for the bottles and you have another where the cups sit. Finally, you can pore out the perfect shot since there is a little spout! The two bottles sit in a compartment where they can be turned over so that the liquid can come out! Let's just say that once my boyfriend sees this post, he will be begging for this to be a permanent fixture within our home (although he still wants the much coveted Tap Machine). I live for the simple maxi dress to pair with accessories. Me, the girl who ran from gold has found a happy medium between my sterling silver looks and embracing another look. I've started to truly love that antiqued look of gold. There is something about the aged look that definitely makes me feel that I'm dressed but not too bright with the bold gold that I love on others but not myself (not to say that I don't have a little gold every now and then). Today, I present great ways to enjoy a sunny yellow dress (I live in Victoria's Secret 24/7) and to compliment it with Michael Kors sandals, Alkemie's Sting Ray Cuff and Alexis Bittar's pendant which is a perfect playful mix of hues that go from neutrals to bronze. I am such a bedding fan! I spend a lot of time in my bedroom - hey keep your mind out of the gutter, there are plenty of things to do! It's my escape when there's way too much going on, I watch all of my Bravo Reality TV Shows and so much more. There is something about having an inviting bed! My absolute favorite is the one on the upper left from Anthropologie. All the ruffles make it like a creamy relaxation spot. Whether you're all about minimal or you're about bringing pops of color, what you do with your bed is completely up to you. Just remember that just like you spruce up your wardrobe, you'll want to do the same with your bed whether it's changing it up with the duvet or adding some cute accent pillows.

Oh man! I’m beginning and ending my summer with a bang! We’re kicking it off with a Lobster Broil at the house and we will end the summer with a big bash – my 30th birthday in South Beach at my favorite hotel, Loews! Oh yes this is going to be an amazing summer (I’ll totally bypass the fact that we have had quite a bit of rain). So with that said, how do I dress for a party that’s at home with friends that begins early and goes to the wee hours of the morning? I’m all about the maxi dress – it’s stylish and comfortable and gives you so many possibilities whether you go with bold colors, stripes, etc. I love this dress and it’s available at Victoria’s Secret (another one of my favorites for day wear). With this bold color and simple look, I’m able to add my accessories to really let me stand out as the hostess of the party. With the high neck, I love a simple choker, such as Christofle's 925 piece available on Vivre, that doesn’t fight with my look and yet doesn’t make my neck look completely naked. I love Max & Chloe's large cuff and this hammered one is perfect to add a bit of the earthy vibe and of course the ring – you know I love a pop of color! Elizabeth Ngo's Large Ornate Victorian Glass Ring in Turquoise adds a mixture of various eras from Victorian, Grecian, etc.The maxi is the way to go and you can find one that’s perfect for you in various price points. A lobster broil in Long Island and the love of the beach, this is a great way for me to show all of that with this simple look!

I don't care that we have some amazing days and then a few crappy rains that hit us! We have to bring the sunshine with us everyday no matter what's going on seasonally or in life in general. With that said, I had to turn to some inspiration as I'm in desparate need to find a great summer bag and of course, I have to start with Jimmy Choo to decide how I will focus my wardrobe around it. I am in love with the Saba Suede Handbag in Sun! I love the African bangle which definitely adds an interesting twist to this piece while also being the perfect item to wear on your wrist. How easy it is to throw some items in here before running off to brunch, to visit a friend or (dare I say) go to work? This looks amazing with jeans and flouncy skirts and is definitely something that I wouldn't mind adding to my collection. The summer is the best! Oh the summer ends, fall is on the way and everyone gets into this massive baking/cooking kick. Somehow we think about having people come over so that everyone can enjoy great friends, food and drinks. Or many people think about baking/cooking in terms of possible gifts. Either way, it is always nice to freshen up what you have and to think about what is essential. Anthropologie is one of my favorite places when you think about items for the home and of course when the holidays come up, you know that you can count on them have to cute items that are perfect for presentations when they're on your table or to create great conversation when people watch you cooking with them. Wearable Wednesdays: Proud as a Peacock

I love wearing simple pieces that wear well and have an interesting pop factor! This Peacock Racerback Tunic Top is super cute over jeans and leggings! I love that it is a cute white top that has the peacock feathers on it. This look is perfect when you think about warm summers and wanting to wear something amazing without have to do too much to it. Of course you can also put a cute chain or choker with this to complete the look. There are two other design elements that make this a great piece. The ruching on the neckline makes a bit of an elegance to this look so that it definitely looks casual but can also be slightly dresed up as well. In addition, I love the wide band at the bottom which allows you to play with the length of this as well. I love Forever 21 as I am guaranteed to always find something that looks amazing for a day but at the same time, I also know that I will always leave with much more than what I had intended to get. Ah what's better than visiting the store and purchasing and then being able to do so online as well?

A few months ago, I was introduced to Spreegirl at an Editor's event and I have to say that since that time, I have been hooked on this super cute sleepwear brand. It has gone with me on a lot of trips with friends, meeting other designers and so much more. Spreegirl's philosophy is that you should be fashionable at all times and that it can be carried into bed time. I actually have a super cute gingham set that's a tank top and boy shorts much like the one the model is wearing in the picture. I love that it's super girly while having a bit of a spice in there too. In the end, it's a fun LA line that you should start introducing to your closets!

I love that you can travel anytime but there is something about the summer that makes it a lot more fun and feels like so much more of a necessity! First off, Coutorture has an amazing segment that looks at amazing designs and pairs them with starfish. For example, looking at this beautiful dress, you can see a bit of the starfish on the right! I love how seeing the two images together, generate a lot of similarities. Obviously, you can also enjoy other fashion shows and interesting editorials that they have created on their own! It's always nice to know that there is something fashionable going on and between visiting this site and seeing other blogs such as this that are apart of the community, you will never run short of getting your fix satisfied! These images are not only fashionable; however, it leads to something that will be introduced on The Kitten Lounge over the next few weeks!

As many of you know, I am all about style, entertainment and a great time as well. To this end, I want to introduce the component of travel. Throughout the next few weeks of the summer and going into Indian Summer/the fall, I will be taking you into places that are a car, plane or train ride away. We all have our favorite places to go to and sometimes with half day Fridays and extended weekends you want to go somewhere that you weren't aware of whether it is down the turnpike or in another state! I hope to bring you cute restaurants, boutiques and so much more. It will be like an ongoing travel guide of sorts which you can refer to no matter when you opt to go! This the best time of year - you know the part that you know that the weather is getting better and that you need to start thinking about what the perfect drink and place will be. When it comes to NYC, the perfect place is a roofdeck or a nice patio area. Now that choice seems easy but then again you have to decide what place has your favorite spot - when it comes to that, you're so on your own! In the meantime, for those that are rum fans - here is the perfect recipe courtesy of Cocktail Times.com. Not only are they a great place to go to get recipes for your next party, but they also have great recipes for meals that you would like to cook as well. They are definitely a go to site of sorts!

FUNKY DIVA

- 1 1/2 oz Leblon cachaça
- 1/2 oz Aperol liqueur
- 1/2 oz Grand Marnier
- dash of simple syrup
- blood orange, cut into chunks
- Champagne

With these ingredients, you're ready to make the Funky Diva; however, you'll also need to do the following which is suggested by Cocktail Times.com as well: " Muddle blood orange and simple syrup. Shake with all the ingredients except Champagne. Pour into a tall glass and top with Champagne."

I was looking at Pottery Barn this morning and began thinking of my favorite thing when it comes to the concept of LAGOON - beach houses, summer shares or wherever you go when you get away from the city for a little R&R. Ok I have to admit, I get sucked into reality shows which is why I do try to avoid them but it gets to be too much and I either see it every time it airs OR I catch it on a marathon. Case in point, the title of this post comes from one of those shows. TV aside, Maptote makes the cutest tote and hobo bags that let you rep your city! Today I want to give love to the city of Brotherly Love. I love that not only does it map the city but it has images that we all think of when we think of this super cute city. I love the LOVE image, Rocky's famous stance and more. This hobo is perfect and if you think that you need something smaller get it in black or taupe as a tote. Sippin Saturdays: Fashion Week Edition - Blood Orange Margaritas

So earlier this week, I had the opportunity to hang out with members of the Coutorture community. This group of individuals work on our own fashion blogs. All of this content comes together and is seen on Coutorture. After being a member for so long, it was nice to meet others who also work hard whether it is in accessories, makeup or various slices of the fashion world. Thankfully, we all met at 24 Prince (side note this restaurant's co-owner and chef will be apart of Top Chef Chicago which will air on March 12th) and enjoyed appetizers . Obviously I enjoyed the conversation; however, the highlight of the night were the beverages! I am such a huge fan of Blood Orange and thankfully, we had the pleasure of enjoying these drinks. I would say that this is something that you should definitely try and although it works well in the winter, definitely consider it for the summer - so refreshing!

Fashion Week is an exciting time that occurs all over the world. On Christmas Eve as many of us wondered whether we would get all that we wanted for Christmas, models hit the runway to show a variety of the looks that hit the catwalk. I am constantly in awe of what creativity comes from the hearts of designers and its fabulous to see it emerge on that thin strip with a variety of beauties rocking it out! I love the pop of color that is shown in the images and a hint of a princess/empress look which every girl wants to feel at some point or another. Growing up, I was sad when I had to take my favorite summer pieces and fold them away to make way for all that was winter. I felt ludy Rudy from the Cosby show when she really wants to wear this plaid dress, but the weather has turned and her mother refuses to let her wear it. I always liked that episode. But now, have you noticed how people can still by spring/summer pieces year around AND you don't get crazy looks. I also love the fact that when it starts to get seriously cold, the topic of conversation in the office turns to February getaways in the islands! With that said, we need to have constant access to summer wear.
