If you are interested in seeing what is out there in terms of furniture or what you would like to put in your home, the International Contemporary Furniture Fair is currently going on now through the 20th at the Javits Center! This is a great way to see a variety of designers from all over the world in one area showing their creativity and innovation. I am definitely excited to see what is there as I do have friends who will be at this event such as Phuze Designs. Take some time to visit the site and if you didn't make it there this weekend, make sure to stop in after work or if you had planned to take a day off for yourself anyway!

As I was in my local Wholefoods store, I saw that they had Fair Trade Hot Chocolate. I was so intrigued to have some and wondered what it would taste like. I also noticed that it cost a bit more than I thought hot chocolate would taste. Apparently this hot chocolate can be mixed with milk, rice or soy which is great for everyone since you're bound to at least consume one of these items! I have yet to try this myself (but with the cold weather upon us, I do enjoy drinking this). If you don't have Wholefoods, you can go to the Lake Champlain Chocolates site to buy some of your very own. If you have tried it, let me know as I am very interested in hearing all the feedback before I get this!

There are so many ways that we can assist others that I love sharing certain organizations that I feel is something that you should know about! I love that the bags are reversible so you can take this so many areas without wondering if it might get a little dirty. She aims to raise awareness and funds for the United Nations World Food Programmers. By doing so, funds raised from this go towards children that are hungry and in need of attending school as well. These bags are 100% organic fair trade and they provide lunch for a year for one child! We buy various pieces based on the Steal vs Splurge factor. There are some things that we refuse to pay a bundle for and there are others that we tell ourselves are a necessary luxury. This beautiful perfume, Imperial Majesty, was officially certified as the Guinness Book of World's Record's most "World's Most Expensive Perfume". Ar a mere $200,000, you can go to Saks 5th Ave and pick one up to add to your favorite scents! Clive Christian, the perfumer is the proud parent of this very luxe scent. This is an amazing label and will definitely be interesting to see the response generated from this very distinct perfume. I must say that the bottle and it's luxurious case definitely lends itself to it's new standing when being compared to other perfumes. I do believe that viewing this for those who are in to their scents, will be as enticing as seeing some of the cities most recognized features!
